Are you ready to read a summary of God's plan to get you to heaven? HEAR Romans 10:13 For "whoever calls upon the name of the LORD shall be saved." Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" Romans 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?" Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. BELIEVE Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Acts 10:43 "To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins." Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. REPENT Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:39 "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call." Acts 17:30 "Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, Matthew 9:13 "But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." Luke 15:7 "I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:10 "Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." Luke 24:46 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, Luke 24:47 "and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Acts 3:19 "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. CONFESS Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:10 For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. Romans 14:11 For it is written: "As I live, says the LORD, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God." Philippians 2:11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. Matthew 10:32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:33 "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 4:15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. Acts 8:36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized ?" Acts 8:37 Then Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." Acts 8:38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. Acts 8:39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. Acts 8:40 But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea. BE BAPTIZED Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. Acts 18:8 Then Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were baptized. Acts 19:4 Then Paul said, "John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus." Acts 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Acts 19:6 And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. Acts 22:16 'And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.' Romans 6:3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Romans 6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, Romans 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. Romans 6:7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. Romans 6:8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 1 Corinthians 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, 1 Corinthians 10:2 all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body; whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free; and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Colossians 2:12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 1 Peter 3:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. 1 Peter 3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us, namely baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, GROW 1 Peter 2:1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all guile, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 1 Peter 2:2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 2 Peter 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. Hebrews 6:1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, Hebrews 6:2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. FAMILY Matthew 10:34 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. Matthew 10:35 "For I have come to 'set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.' Luke 12:53 "Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother -in-law." Luke 14:26 "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:27 "And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:28 "For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it; Luke 14:29 "lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all who see it begin to mock him, Luke 14:30 "saying, 'This man began to build and was not able to finish.' Matthew 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 2 Thessalonians 3:13 But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good. Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
